  • Legislative Monitoring: The Section has contracted with the Texas Real Estate and Probate Institute (T-REP) to monitor legislation affecting our practice areas as well as the clients we serve during the legislative session and report back to REPTL on the status of that legislation. In addition, from time to time, REPTL provides practice-area expert witnesses at the invitation of legislators to educate lawmakers on the potential effects of certain bills. During and at the end of each legislative session, through its contract with T-REP, REPTL provides its members with updates on legislation affecting their practice areas in the Members Only area of the REPTL website.
  • REPTL Reporter: The REPTL Reporter provides a wealth of information in the form of case law updates and articles in the areas of real estate, estate planning, probate, trust, guardianship, and elder law. Issues of the REPTL Reporter are made available to members in searchable PDF format and may be saved for future reference.
  • REPTL Leadership Academy: The REPTL Leadership Academy encourages the active involvement and participation of young lawyers in Section activities by giving them opportunities to become involved in substantive Section work, providing networking opportunities with practitioners from across the state, mentoring young attorneys and developing future Section leaders, and promoting the Section through various projects and services.   • REPTL CLE Library: As a REPTL member, you have access to our library of CLE articles from leading real estate, probate, estate planning, trust law, guardianship, and elder law seminars covering the last ten years. These materials are available in the Members Only section of the REPTL website. The collection is fully keyword searchable and gives members immediate 24/7 access to an extensive library of materials.

  • Title Standards Joint Editorial Board: REPTL co-sponsors the Texas Title Examination Standards Committee with the Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section. This committee publishes the Texas Title Examination Standards, which are widely used by real estate practitioners.
